flash bios not responding

an anyone help me i just got a new premod in and i am stumped. i have never had this problem when flashing a chip. the controller wont work for the flash bios but it works for the msdash, i have ied other controllers as well.

are controllers xbox or after market
try with dvd tray out
or use a xbox dvd remote

i got it, it seems the new controllers that microsoft are shipping somehow dont work wih flashbios..mybe microsoft did something, it seems the new ones with black cords are incompatible, but the greenish transparent ones are.i tested this theory and so far its true.

Umm... new ones with black cords? Is that the S-Controller?
