Hi, I am a noob, here is my first post. After I soldered the slim QSB v3 and the CR4 on the motherboard(Trinity), I connected the JR-Programmer V2 with both of them, and I opened J-Runner v0.3 Beta (5). The green light on JRP is on. I clicked "Reed Nand" and it showed me this message.

Here are my soldering pictures. This is the second time I soldering (I replaced a fuse in my NDS for the first time), and I know it looks bad. Any suggestions except re-solder it?

Also, should I change any setting on the CR4? I touched the switch right above the "CR4" chip, forgot its original position, what is that switch for?

BTW, my system version is 16767, it was at this version when I bought it. Hope it doesn't matter since I don't know how to downgrade it.

Thank you all for your time.

Some weird thing just happened, I turned the xbox on while everything is plugged in. The fan runs like crazy and the red power button blinks. I pulled off the power of the xbox and replugged it, the xbox turned on its own and now I am able to see its original desktop as nothing happened before. Then I clicked "Read Nand" and the xbox turned off on its own...

Your soldering is terrible. Practise some more before modding xboxes. Use flux, looks like you need higher iron temperature. Shorter wires... Most likely you bridged something.

Problem solved, it's the QSB's problem, somehow it doesn't connect to the motherboard very well, I cut the line and soldered the JR programmer directly to the motherboard, it works now. My flux is still on its way:tongue:, get so excited and could't wait to do my first mod, started once I got my CR4 this morning, haven't eat anything yet... Thank you all for replying.

LOL , you should be a comedian. It isn`t a QSB problem , it`s a ` I can`t solder problem`.

Yeah, I agree with everyone who posted before me, Flash Config: 0x000000000 indicates poor soldering. It's already been said, but you have to use flux for this type of work. Also, a check with a multimeter would have shed some light on your problem, perhaps; it's a must have.
