Hello,

i will try to explain my problem (not good english since i'm french...)

My Xbox is a Falcon with HDMI

I used JTAG Tool 1.74
i got 7-8 identical nand backup with only one bad block at FC

then i put Xell on nand.
Xell was ok and i got my CPU key (congrat!! lol)

Nand in Flash Dump Tool 0.94 :
- 2BL/4BL 5761
- 6BL/7BL patch 0 7363
- 6BL/7BL patch 1 7371

Nand after with Freeboot (used jtag tool 1.74)
- 2BL/4BL 5770
- 6BL/7BL patch 0 4532
- 6BL/7BL patch 1 9199

(no BAD/KV, etc...)

for information before i explain my problem.
i do nothing, touch nothing on soldering stuff after nand backup.

but now each time i connect nand-x module on usb, the 2 leds is ok (connected or not on xbox)

But nandpro 2.0d or 2.0e give me this message :

Looking for usb interface device
Could not detect a flash controller!
Can not continue

(same message if nandx is connected or not on xbox)
Then i'm stuck and can't put freeboot nand !

i read somewhere i can flash xell to xellous with usb... i do !
but now xbox light only green center led and no error message on screen, nothing, empty, nada...
i try all video cable (hdmi, vga, composite HDTV/TV)... nothing

i guess nandx module is dead ?
i buy another one to try, but do you think this new nandx module is going to help me...

Thank you in advance ;)

Pictures of your soldering job would help more. However it's most likely that your soldering has come loose somewhere so I'd suggest you double check all your soldering points.

my problem is literally the same but i have damaged 3 soldering pads on the board thinking my soldering was bad....

Before you go re soldering anything check it with a multi-meter if your solder points are good

I've run into this same issue and need to check my solder points. You speak of checking with a multi-meter (which would be preferred rather than going through and redoing everything for the 'chance' that was the issue). Can somebody help direct me on how to check with the multi-meter?
