flash from hdd???????

Is there a way to flash from the HDD?
What I mean is if I just put a BIOS on the hdd and open it nothing will happen how can I get it to flash? I have NO cromwell or flash bios on the 2.6, What I can do is a hot swap .
Or how do I flash a dead chip. Could my soderless adapter be dead or not working?
I have been looking on forums for this issue for for 2 days now please help the

nothing would happen like it was never there
I found the problem
It was the D0 wire on the solderless adapter and not the placement
