Ok.. I am on 2.0.14699.0 dash.. I have a Lite-on Model No DG-16D2S and I have a Xecuter 360 Blaster CK3 kit. I downloaded the latest ixtreme firmware pack.. I haven't turned my 360 on in over a year.. It was flashed to LT2..

I wanted to flash back to stock to update to the latest dash.. I connected my 360 to my PC and opened up JF.. Found the IO port it was under.. Opened up my dummy.bin as my source and orig-74850C-1a000.bin as my target.. Clicked on spoof source to target then verified both keys matched.. Saved to file..

I then went to MTK Flash 32 tab and clicked on Lite-On Erase.. It gave me the expected messages twice.. After the second I cycled power on my 360 and after a few seconds it said it failed.. I looked down and the power appeared to be off on my 360.. Thinking that was the problem I tried the same process again.. However, this time I got another error first (which I can't remember and forgot to screenshot it).. I hit yes and then got the two regular messages.. Hit yes and cycled power again but got the same error..

Now, my drive doesn't show up in JF or the Bios.. Hope I'm not effed here..

Help! Thanks

I had this issue this week with faulty board but got it working. First off do you have USBPRO v1 or 2? Also if you have V1 do you have CKI or CKI Pro?

I have V1 and Pro and basically if you have the probe or probe 3 just click on Lite-On erase and Probe the drive for 3-4 secs and let go and the drive will show up again. Then just outro the drive and see what happens. Of still missing restart process and it should read fine again and then write the firmware again.

I had to probe to get mine to detect and intro did nothing. There are a few methods to this.

I've never had to probe a lite-on drive to erase it, and that's over 300 drives and counting.

I never had to also and aware you know what you are talking about that I know but explaining what I had to do this week to get it to work. Prob the MPX01 during the erase and it got the drive to finally populate after it crashed on me writing to it the first time.

1) Intro/Device ID
2) Yes
3) Power OFF
4) Groung the MPX01
5) Power ON
6) Release the MPX01

This is just one method to try, also try to do intro on drive. These are only 2 that I ever have to do when this happens.

This sounds more an issue with your OS/Drivers.

Wait - if the firmware is half-cooked, you won't see it in JF.

Select your DVD drive port in JF and just send lite-on erase.

Power cycle the drive when prompted.

Then flash it back to stock choosing my dummy as the source and the stock fw as the target?
