The reason the port number is different in the logs is because I tried a different sata port..
I click on Lite-On Erase.. I wait for "Drive returned Status 0x7F" to come up and then I cycle the power.. After a few seconds it says failed..Are you waiting until the erase is done and once it says drive returned status such and such then power cycle the drive?
Yes, I moved it on my board to another SATA port (with everything shut down).. I have since moved it back to the original port it was plugged into when it WAS showing up in JF..You can't keep trying ports unless you're physically moving the SATA Cable????
I've tried that.. Numerous times and I keep getting what I posted in the JF log.. I have the 360 on, the CK3 to "PC" and the on/off toggle switch to "ON" and I get the green halo.Don't be messing with different ports etc. You could end up sending the Lite-on erase command to another device which accepts in.
Power the drive on. Select the port. Lite-on erase.
That's it.
None of this will help him get the drive into Vendor mode.Try using the stock firmware in source from ixtreme and then add your key in the target I think the dummy is fine as a source but you can not use it as target as it does not have everything you need in it. Do you have the original firmware dump? That is what is usually used its size is 256k I think
Left it on the entire time.. Clicked on lite-on erase..Leave it on the whole time.
Once the Lite-on erase has finished, click Vendor Intro and follow on-screen instructions. Make sure you have the 'phat' option selected.

Tried to intro without cycling power and then again cycling power and it failed both times..Try and Intro the drive - that should give good flash chip properties and status 0x72 (Vendor mode).
To be fair, you would have probably had this done by now if you were using an X360USB Pro.
You carry on with the Jungleflasher PDF.OK I got a X360USBPRO today and somehow have managed to get the drive into Vendor mode.. What now?
