Flash halted at 1/3 no matter what bank.

Yes have been using the 1957 and tried http and cd. Now I think all the banks are screwd even the backup. Actually, when you go to backup and flash from it, what bank does it flash to? The dipswitched bank or the backup? After I tried 1234 then I tried 5678. and then where ever I could find flashBIOS. Now all banks seem to be messed up. Can I restore them or something? Is there anything I can do? Maybe it was a bad download or something. What can I do with my x3 now?

You could wait until the X3 programmer is released to try and flash it, or take it back to your reseller and see what they can do...

if it crashed at 25% you its one of 3 things

1) switches set wrong (try unplugging the switch all together)
2) faulty switch / cable
3) faulty flash rom (absolutley highly improbable)

I have this problem too... (I have a 1.4 xbox PAL)
Already unplugged the switch (with cable) off the x3 chip.
So (1) & (2) can't be a possible...
(3) can't be checked , rite? It is possible to flash an x2 bios on my chip.
Can it also be caused by the connector where the switch cable need to connect to the chip?

Hi, i have a elite falcon with benq... if i flash it with 1.61 ixtreme will i get ban if i flash it? I'm just wanna play games now instead of waiting for the LT verson... i wouldnt be going online btw

A. If you don't go online, you can't get banned.

B. There is ALWAYS a risk of getting banned NO MATTER what firmware you use.

i was thinking of flashing it with 1.61 cause i wanna play ff13, then flash back to official then play live again
