Flash Halting Problem

When I try to flash it says got bios over http:1048576 bytes unkown flash halting, I have tryed different switch setting and dvd and via internet with both 1959 and 2913 please help. stuck!!

Check the flash protect on the chip as well on the switch. Switch should be set to on, on, off, off, off...with the non-pro switch.

I have tried on on off off off, off on off off off, off off off off off I hav checked the switch on the chip and unplugged the external switch. The only thing I have not tried that I know of is to flash from the hard drive. I was wondering is there a way to erase the bios on the chip?

you tried flashing through the 256k backup? and i think the only way you can ftp with your xbox is when you have a bios installed so i dont think your going to have much luck there.

Your not trying to flash it through the Evox dashboard are you??

I don't think so. What happed was I was trying to flash and everything seemed fine, about half the way through the power went off. When I try to flash again I get the message got bios over http: 1048576 bytes. unkown flash halting.
