flash help needed bad

I am helping a friend to flash his xecuter 2,6 lite. He do not have a modded HD.
When I start the box the cromwell or whatever does not appear. The fan just starts and stopps. the tray does not open.

is this because the chip dont have cromwell installed?
How do I flash it if it dont? I do not have a programmer and the connectors on my chip dont fit his..

please help..

you will need programer or find someone with x2 chip and do hotswap

have done a hot swap and the site he bought it from says it contains Flash bios from cromwell...

ok your install is not ok recheck
if chip is new it will have flashbios on it

flashbios 3.0.1 on bank 1 that works on v1.0 to v1.6 xboxs but not v1.6b

flashbios 3.0.3 on bank 2 that work on v1.0 to v1.6b but not v1.6 xboxs
