Flash help

I just purchased an xecuter 3ce chip, got it installed and have been experiencing difficulty flashing it. The only bank setting that accepts any flash is off on off off off. I did successfully flash the X3 3294 bios once and was in the setup menu. The one time it worked properly it said it was using the 303 flasher but the recovery mode brings up 301 and I can't figure out how to use 303 again. If you are wondering why the post if I successfully flashed, it is because my friend was helping me and we tryed installed another hard drive which didn't work out and he thought re-flashing may help. Now it does flash but hangs up at the xecuter rox my box screen. I have a version 1.0 xbox. Any input would be appreciated as I have tried about everything I can think of.

Actually I think my friend did set a password is that a problem? That switch combination will not accept flash for some reason. Just the one bank will. I use the same bios for both and it works for one but not the other. Actually any bios I have gotten to load has only been for the one bank.
Also I have reflashed over that numerous times already and if there was a password set wouldn't the reflash have erased it?
