Hello all used to have hacked Xbox many years ago, now have 2x slims 250gb bought about 7 months, and 4gb slim bought few days ago..250gb has latest dash and is.12v 10.something lol. Slim is 12v 9.6 but on 2.0.13599.0, I have x360usb and Ihas 524b..question is which one do I jtag/rgh or flash if possible ..hope this makes sense ..

The 250GB unit should be glitchable, it depends which drive is in the 4GB model.

The QSB is optional but in my opinion, it makes the install look cleaner.

They did block RGH on phat models if updated to the newest update (14717). You have dash 13599 so you're good to go. You can go as far as dash 14699 and still glitch just don't update to 14717 with the phat.......yet.

if your slim is on 2.0.13599 then its OK, only with the newest dash you would be screwed.

That is not correct there is a solution for slims even if on new dash. Not phats though.

Nope this is false, Slim 14717 solution has been found and they are working on phat console solution atm. Still dont understand why user still want to update their dash from 14699 to 14717?

If you have cpu key you are okay. They haven't found a way to calculate the ecc for the new bootloader.

So if you update and don't have cpu key for a slim you are screwed until the problem with the ecc is fixed.

Still dont understand why user still want to update their dash from 14699 to 14717?

It's more "because we can" thing, there is no point 14699 to 14717. I just did it on my personal Slim to try it out. It's sorta lame because there's no dash launch, I will likely be going back.
