I Flashed the bios with v x3029 v16plus.bin and when it boots I don't get the xecuter rox my box. It says Oops! somethings wrong and the eject button blinks red and green. I flashed the Bios using a crosssover cable and a laptop. Can some please help. This is my first XBOX v1.6 that I've worked with. I've flashed other XBOX but they were v1.0-v1.3.

I had to reflash mine several times before it would finally work, just keep at it and make sure you reflash the same bank. You can swap banks while the xbox and chip are on without hurting you chip or box, thats one of the better features of the X3.

The 'Oops! Something's wrong' screen is generated from the BIOS. What's the error code.

BTW, it sounds like the BIOS is working.

the title said 3.0.1 and it seems you are working on a 1.6 dont you need flash bios 3.0.3 for a v1.6.

No - Read the FlashBIOS download page.

3.0.1 - 1.0 to 1.6 (not 1.6b)
3.0.3 - 1.0 to 1.6b (it says not 1.6, but I've gotten it to work).

Either way it's irrelevent. He's booted to FlashBIOS and flashed an X3 BIOS. He doesn't need any other version.
