Flash problem

i just had an X3 installed in my box 1.4or 1.5 im not sure.but i run i one small problem with flashing the chip i tryed now know all the x3 bios and i cant get any to flah on to the chip.it stops from 1/3 to 3/4 in to wright procces and gives me this "programing failed for bytes at 0x3016 wrote 0x0F,read 0xff" and the byte changes when it stops 1/3 or 3/4 the way .
did any one had the problem.
x2 bios works,



plus i did check all my solder points
and tryed diffrend flashbios

Dante's Inferno game wont run

ok I have updated Dantes inferno backup to wave 2. I put it in and i get a message that an update must be applied to console to play this game? I'm on 1.41 I had someone do this for me. what do I do in order to play it on this firmware or how do I get the update without wasting another disc?

agreed updates for games are ok to take its the security updates u have to watch out for!!

no i dont have xbox live I only play offline. Would it work without live? without the update it wont even let me start it.

I connected it and when it asks me to update i do and it just goes back to dashboard. also when I test my live connection it tells me I need a system update. Should I take it or is this some security update?? My xbox is not banned from live and would like to keep it that way.
