sounds like you flash the chip with the flashbios 3.0.3 instead of the x3_1959 bios.

get the x3_1959 bios and flash the chip. simple

Cannot Detect Flash Controller - After Reading/Writing etc.

After extensive reading and watching tutorials, I have successfully been able to Jtag 3 consoles in the past day. However one console (the first one I tried to do) is giving me problems.

I was successfully able to dump the NAND image using the NAND-X and the QSBs that came with it. I got 3 identical dumps all with 1 bad block error (which I know isn't a big deal), I then proceeding the write Xell to the NAND using the Jtag Tool so I could get the CPU key.
Xell wrote fine however on starting up the console I was greeted with 1 red light and the E79 error, which I know now was probably down to bad soldering somewhere on the JTAG connections - however I didn't think that at the time.
I thought it was something to do with the bad blocks etc, so I tried moving the bad blocks and rewriting and trying other methods (XBR) to see if I could get it working.. anyways I couldn't get it working and wrote the original NAND image (I think) back to the NAND.

I left it for a few days and proceeded onto the other 3 console which I successfully jtagged, now I've came back to this to see if I can sort it out but now everytime I go to read/write/erase the NAND I just get the error "Cannot detect a flash controller".

I assume the NAND itself is totally fine as the Xbox boots fine and the dashboard is still 7371. The dumping method I am using is with the NAND-X and cutting the pin block off the wires and just soldering the wires directly onto the points (which has worked for the other 3 consoles) .

I know its not my soldering which is the problem as I've desoldered and resoldered them about 3-4 times now even onto the point on the opposite of the motherboard but still with no avail.
I have also tried the bridging of the pins aswell to get it recognized but that wont either, although i'm not sure if i'm doing it right.

Any help? Sorry for the long text.

1. try a different usb port for the NAND-X

2. power off console, unplug, press power button (to clear any capacitors)
plug in, don't turn on, try to read/write again
