Im not to sure what buttons mean what on the x360usb im not sure if its not reading my drive right but when i try to write the LT+ firmware onto the drive i spoof the key and it gives me this error say's the the spi is locked even tho i cutt the trace and probed it

Umm i dont believe i did, i was watching a video tutorial from someone on this site. Everything that he say's needs to be done, was done like the serial flash with 0x72 firmware and how it say's 0x00 instead of the 0x-- but when i go to write the new firmware it says the SPI is locked and is aborted?

I was fooling around with the x360usbprov2 and switched the button toward the usb and my computer started making noises and everything

well bottom line is the drive is still locked so if your following the JF tutorial & flashing correctly, it must be a problem with the install of the sputnik hack in some way, check it all over & start again sorry not much help for you

1. After probing the PCB & unlocking the drive (i.e. status changes to 0x00) outtro the drive and then get it into vendor mode again to verify that the pcb has actually unlocked. SPI status should still show as 0x00 when intro ed again.

2. Some MXIC PCB's need the trace to be fixed before writing the firmware else it will either fail to write or fail to verify.

Sending Chip Erase to Port 0x0000
Writing target buffer to flash
Writing Bank 0:

This is what i get to then it freezes.. If i switch the update button then this is what happen's and the other way it say's that the spi is locked..

Im so confused.
