Yes you can flash it to rip your originals to make back ups.. You don't even need the dummi.bin

yes but if you plan on using in console again be sure and save current fw

Follow the same procedure as you would normally except ignore spoofing source to target because you don't need your drive key with 0800 firmware.

Which PCB do you have?

You won't be able to write 0800 firmware to an unlocked PCB (for slim drives).

I have the xecuter unlocked pcb replacement board

That was designed for slim drives, you need to get yourself either a Lite-On DG-16D2S or BenQ VAD6038 and write 0800v3 firmware to it.

Alternatively, you could always get the X360USB Pro v2 because it has an integrated 0800 ripping feature that works with all drives (minus 1175 - coming soon) .
