Flash Settings

I am going to flash my x3 ce for the first time. I have read the posts and just wanted to check my swith settings before I flash. I have a 1.6 (confirmed by verifying the chipsets inside).

Bank 1234: on on off off

I got the 3.01 bios to boot.

Now do I switch to (while on):

Bank 5678: off on off off.

Then, flash the 1.6plus bios to 5678?

If this correct, and the bios flashes, what settings do I put it back too, if any?

use power eject at same time to get flashbios up then flash on on off off off

if do not get backup bios working start xbox on on off off off then once you have flashbios screen turn switchers to off on off off off the flash bios
once you have flashed bios dont change switch
then reboot xbox you should have a working xbox
if your backup will not work power eject at same time flash it with working flashbios
flashbios 3.0.1 for V1.6
flashbios 3.0.3 the the v1.0 to v1.5 and v1.6b

Victor, Yes that is about the size of it, just make sure you have flash protect off.

Once done; it should then boot to X3CL. There is no need to change switches unless you want to flash another X3 Bios onto Bank 1234
