I was just wondering how close xecuter is to making the x2.6 programmer be able to flash the x3 for all of us 1.6b owners that cannot flash our chips (because of FlashBios). Thanks.

you dont need a programmer for the x3 just boot the back up flash rom... there is already a 2.6 programmer
the x3 backup rom that is being shipped now does not support 1.6b. Anyhow, I got an xbox to flash the bios I needed so that it would work with my 1.6b.
Hitachi-78fk-never been flashed ? please a little help.
HEY guys thax for having me here. I just need some Info. on flashing my hit-78fk. I also have a 360 with a benQ That's my son's but I don't want to flash it I would like to leave it stock for playing XBLIVE. So here we go I don't plan on using my hit-78fk drive to ever go on XBLIVE . I would like to play backups of my org. games, my son has all most killed all my game's, but his
how funny his still work ! but he has learned to take more care of them now, that there's not many to pick from. lets see if I got it right I need a sata cable & card -Jflasher- ixtreme firmware v.1.51 a power supply- connect kit to power on a off. and what about a slaks disk not sure about that. I have got a Dell 1525 vista laptop but not sure if that will work I also have a desktop it's a dell optiplex gx-150 running XP. pentium III @ 933 mhz. ram is only 256 but it can be upgraded it 512 not sure if that will too. WHERE DO I START! I have been looking , reading, searching, and studing but it's still a little unclear there's not much up to date Info out there right now . maybe for 2006 to 2008. please help! and thax alot for such a good forum.

There too many questions here m8 and typing your answers is a nightmere, everything is explained in textbook's tut read it and if there any bits you dont understand come back and it will be easier to help.

So is JFlasher 1.70 is the program that you flash with and ixtreme 1.51 is the firmware that you use? for the hitachi 78fk?

yea it is mate.....if i was you i would get some1 to flash it for u.... hitachi are quite funny and if you don't do it rite u have a brick!
