Flash to new firmware to avoid ban

Hi I have a samsung drive and it is flashed with the modified firmware but I have not been online with it since before the ban and I was wondering if I could use this new iXtreme firmware and go back online or will microsoft already know my console is modded.

I live in the UK so I am not even sure if they are banning here anyway.

Also my brothers 78 drive hasn't been banned yet but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I'm not 100% sure, but you might as well try to get onto LIVE now with an original and see if your banned. Because if you are, it has already happened, and if not, update to the iXtreme thats coming out soon.

Worked and I'm not banned but like I said i'm in the UK and am not sure if I would have been anyway!
Anyone else been banned from the UK? Also anyone got any ideas about when a new 78 firmware will be ready?
Does anyone know if it could be the fact I have a firewall and good nat functionality on my router thats stopping the ban.. perhaps?

Yes, there have been bans in the UK. And no it has nothing to do with your firewall or router.
