FlashBIOS 3.0.0 and 1.6b

Is FlashBIOS 3.0.0 supposed to work with a 1.6b? The reason I ask is that I am reading all these posts about how version 3.0.1 does not work with the 1.6b and FlashBIOS 3.0.0 does work with my 1.6b. And also I am kind of confused reading numerous posts on if and how I can update my FlashBIOS to version 3.0.3 or if I even need too.

if it works more power to you I guess. The whole point of flashbios is so you can get one of these illegal hacked bois flashed onto the chip.

there is no reason to upgrade if it works. But if you want to use the latest bios 3108 you need to follow the directions and make sure you use the 3108v16.
