How do i update flash bios from 3.0.0 to a newer one ie 3.0.1 im sure ive got a 1.6, i can only get the m8 bios as the 1959 wont flash tried http and cd pls help would be appriciated

The only way I was able to update the flashbios is through config live. If I'm reading your post correctly you are not able to get into config live? The other way is to set your dip switches for a single 256k bank and to flash that via http. This willl not touch your backup flashbios however. If you are trying to use this to get your flash to work however you may be in for more trouble as that is most likely not your issue.
Make sure that all the flash protect switches are disabled on your chip and the external switch. It would make it easier just to remove the external switch while testing to make sure the external switch is not the problem. Try flashing like that an see if you have any more luck.
If you do you can ftp your updated flashbios to the hd on the xbox and use config live to flash your backup from within bios tools.

ty for the response but still i get no luck when i take of the switch i can only seem to flash with the m8 bios at which im frustrated as im unable to use config live i thought part of the reason was because im using Flash Bios3.0.0 any further help would be very appriciated ps when the dip switches are setup for the current 256 bank im using the lights are on it as normal but when i have the dip switches set for a 1mb bank no lights are on it atall

thats the thing that pisses me of ppl responding to something when ther as usefull as pig s.... i wanted flash bios 3.0.1 as i thought it was the reason i cant updaet my bios to the 1959 so i can actually use my x3 chip to the fullest of its potential if updating the flash bios wont help my problem then tell me but dont dare condescend and pls take the rod out your rectum

K i respect the fact u designed this but all im saying is u r not listening to the problem im asking which is will a newer version of flash bios increase of the chance of me being able to flash an xecuter bios instead of the current m8 bios as when i try to flash the 1959 to a 1mb bank (either of ) it gets to about 15/20% and crashes.
using bad block remapper? need help

I've set my jtag wires up and hooked it to pc to dump nand.
I've dumped it 5 times and everytime i get error 250 reading block 17 and error 250 reading block FF
i'm trying to use the bad block remapper to fix these 2 bad blocks but not sure what i have to do?
I've selected both images on the analys MS image and it says
Found Block ID 0x00FF at offset 0x01077C00
Found Block ID 0x0017 at offset 0x0107BE00
== Analyzed successfully ===========================
What do i have to do from here?
i've pressed reposition bad block and it asking me for the zero pair nand image.
