FlashBios 3.0.2

Hello all,

I just got my X3 chip yesterday. Plugged it in very easily (the D0 was the only 'difficult' part, but not that much as it is rumored on the forums).
The blue X light came up on the panel and the FlashBios 3.0.0 screen appeared.
I installed the X3 1957 BIOS with no problem, using the 4x256KB banks.

OK, here's the problem: Where and how do I flash the FlashBios 3.0.2 ?
Do I flash it on the backup ROM ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You don't need FlashBIOS 3.0.2 !

If your Xbox is working, then all is good. The FlashBIOS is only there as a software solution to get another BIOS onto your chip. You can go ahead and use your Xbox now.

So you would say the same for someone running 3.0.2, who was thinking 3.0.3? I have a 1.6b that 3.0.2 (beta) was able to get working, and since then have flashed the 1957 repack. All is working, so my thought process is just to keep the 3.0.2 on one of the spare banks, and pass on getting 3.0.3-after all, if it ain't broke, why fix it comes to mind. I just want to make sure I am not missing something here in my thought process...or lack thereof!

Re: Philips & Lite-on

No, you can flash any drive right now - read the Jungle Flasher tutorial.

You can download the latest version of the tutorial from the Jungle Flasher website. There is also a trouble-shooting guide you can download.
