flashbios and 1.6b problem

I have an xbox 1.6b. I flashed my only flasbios 3.03 with a 3.01 version (off on off off off) by mistake. The strange thing is I can get the flashbios 3.01 to boot up on my 1.6b If I press the power and eject buttons about 50 times It will eventually come up. I can get It to come up on two different banks. It wont read the x3 3294 v16plus file I should of used from within flashbios 3.01. Is there any way I can upgrade one of the 3.01 bios to 3.03?

p.s. I know all about the hotswop method, Im going out to sea In 2 weeks(navy submarine).

I have downloaded flashbios_v303 off xbins(256k). should I flash that to the off on off off off bank? Do I need to rename that to BIOS.bin and add the dummy file?

I made a disc with the file flashbios_v303.bin file that I renamed to BIOS.bin and added the dummy file. I tried flashing this from flashbios 3.01. I get....

Flash BIOS 3.01

Found Bios Update:/BIOS.bin (256k)
Unknown Flash! Halting.

the flash protect led on my x3ce chip is lit green and the no.5 flash protect dip switch is OFF.

turn it on then off agin see if the color changes to red then try to flash after it turns to red.

I tried x3 3294 v16 plus version and the m8plus v16 one and I get...

Unknown Flash! Halting.....from flashbios 3.01, which is the only working version on my chip right now...

yep my flash protect on the chip says green:unprotect, I had a green LED so I assumed that was correct...doh!
