Just installed the Xecuter 3 in my XBOX 1.6.

In the FlashBIOS 3.0.1 menu I can't move the cursor.
So I can't move to 'Load BIOS from disc' or other options.

There is one controller connected in port 1 and this controller is working in games.

Any ideas?

yes, make sure to use a stock controller. It's been discovered that some stock controller with part number starting with "X08" has problem. Ones with "X09" work perfectly. If you have a dvd controller kit, use that instead otherwise try another controller.

you have to disconnect all devices apart from standard controllers. No dongles or any thing.

It works with my remote controller from the DVD kit.
I can move the cursor with the keys on the remote control.
So I succesfully flashed a new bios with a CD-RW.

But it doesn't work with my original Microsoft 'S' controller (part no. X08-xxxxx).
I tried FlashBIOS 3.0.1 (bank 1234) en 3.0.3 (in bank 4567).

A controller with partno. X09 should work also I've heard. But I don't have one to try.

FlashBIOS will either work with the original controller and/or the DVD Remote Playback Kit.

Once flashed with an X3 BIOS you won't need to use FlashBIOS to reflash again.
