flashbios on backup rom?

i have the v1.6b xbox with the X3CE installed, and need flashbios v3.03. i am able to access it on the main banks but would like to know if i can flash the backup to flashbios v3.03 ( apparently it is an older version not compatible with my version xbox). if i bugger up the main banks, the backup would be useless without v3.03.
is it possible to flash the backup and how?
any help appreciated.

I know that if you search the forum you can find it, but until that happens, OR someone who knows tells you, make sure you don't flash the 2nd 1MB bank.

Just use the 2nd bank (stock switch Off On Off Off Off) to boot the chip, THEN once you get the flashing options switch to the first bank, (stock switch On On Off Off Off)THEN flash.
