Flashbios shows bios protected when it isnt

flashbios shows the bios is protected when it isnt - the chip switch is off and the switch on the cp is off. any ideas?

Disconnect the ext. switch and see if you can flash.

I'm having the same problem with my 256K backup

Oh my situation is not a problem with the exterior switch I say this on account that I tried it with my spare X3 and all is well
