Hi. I've read the Teamxecuter tutorial and I already make the Bios CD according to their instructions. HOwever they did not teach how to make the flashbios v3.03 cd. I can not download the flash 3.03 program from their site so I downloaded from mirc #xboxemu. The flash 3.03 is a small 256kb bin file. How do I use this? I've spent days trying to flash my bios to 5035 and wasted a bundle of cds and dvds. Please lend me some help. Btw, I do not have ftp working because I messed up the avalaunch by deleting files on z:.

If your chip is X2.6, it should be loaded with flashbios 3.01 on the 1st bank and flashbios 3.03 on the the second bank. I'm not sure if you're trying to flash 5035 over the flashbios but if that's the case that's correct but you have to make sure that the 5035 bios that you're flashing matched to your xbox version ie: 5035_old for v1.0-1.5, 5035v16 for v1.6/1.6b.

BTW try using using cr-rw instead of cd-r, memorex and tdk works for me...

I just found out my mod chip is a Duox2 and not an xecuter chip. I was using the x2_4981.06 bios which made me believe it was an xecuter chip. My mod chip does not have an external switch. Are there any bootable disc out there similar to the Slayers disc where I can flash my bios to a x2_5035. Slayers only have up to x2_4983. Is there a bootable disc version of flashbios 3.01 or 3.03?

EvoX supports BIOS flashing, and I know there are a couple other utilities that will do the same. You can build an EvoX boot disc with exactly what you need, this is essentially what is under the covers of Slayers. You'll need to setup the files the way you want them and configure the ini, create an xiso out of them, then burn to disc. You can find info on this in the Xbox-Scene tutorials. Recommendation- use a slow burning speed. Generally the slower the better.

I would recommend that if you are going to create a boot disc first just get one with FTP running so you can access your HDD and get a dash working again. Not sure how to get Ava fixed, but you could always drop something else on there. Since you're looking to flash EvoX would probably be a good choice.
