LS,

I have a XBox 360 Slim 4GB + Kinect with a LiteOn DG-16D4S with the 0225 firmware.

I connected it to my PC using the X360USB and the CK3i, and after getting the key, I replaced the PCB with an unlocked one.

After that, I intro-ed the drive (needed to power off/on first), wrote the firmware (LTPlus-0225-v3.0.bin), locked the drive, outro-ed (had to do this twice before it would verify), and everything was fine according to JungleFlasher.

I now powered off the drive, disconnected it from the PC, reconnected it to the XBox, made sure everything was connected properly, and then powered on the XBox.

Immediately the green light (in the center of the on button, but the front is not connected) starts blinking rapidly, no error messages are shown on the TV.

What can I do in order to fix this issue?

Kind regards,

Matthias Vance

I am sure I connected the drive correctly, as there is only one way to connect it (both connectors have guides).

I switched the switch to wp=0 (which means it's write protected).

I couldn't find a way to edit my post, I wanted to add that the same happens when I flash the stock firmware for the 0225 drive.

I tried replacing the SATA cable from the XBox motherboard to the drive, didn't fix it. I didn't look at the power connector since it's quite hard to bust one of those. I did make sure it was connected firmly.

I have sent the company I ordered from an e-mail to request RMA of the unlocked PCB.

JungleFlasher detects the drive, and the PC detects it as a Mass Storage Device (USB). However, when I insert a random DVD (BF3 for PC), the disc spins, but it doesn't show the data.

Why would it show the data?

If JF is detecting the drive then it's working. I'd double-check your connections.

I double checked the connections to the PCB, and also the connections from the XBox to the drive. I even replaced the SATA cable inside the XBox to see if that got bent wrong somehow. The only thing that I did not check (because it is hard to do so) is the power cable inside the XBox. I find it hard to believe that this would have been busted when (re/dis)connecting the drive.

I'm going to have a problem doing that, since I don't know anyone with an XBox (or that is willing to have it taken apart), and buying another drive is too expensive, since I already had to buy a burner, an unlocked PCB, the CK3i, and the X360USB.

Good point, although it was around EUR 180 for the total package. Going to contact the store first to see if they can swap the PCB, if that still doesn't work, I can try the another drive.

No, actually, I checked the prices across the stores listed on the team-xecuter retail page. This is including the burner (624), the CK3i, the x360usb pro and the PCB.

Anyway, I'll try the original PCB and see what happens.

Is that JF log from your new drive? If so, reflash your drive and make sure you press spoof source to target. (your drive key is not showing on JF)

That JF log was from my unlocked PCB, and I made sure both source and target showed the same key. The drive has the correct key, since it is verified when outro-ing (and when connecting the drive to the PC).
