Ok. I installed a solderless xapter, and connected all the wires as per the installiation guides. When everything was put back together the chip booted to the flashbios so I figure everything must be installed correctly. I flash the 3029 bios by http and the chip appears to flash correctly, it doesn't give any errors, and shuts down after the flash. After that I go to turn it on and it comes on for a split second, then shuts down almost immediately. I tried it several times, and even tried it flashing off a DVD with the same results. Its not a flash protection thing since it goes all the way through the flash process. The chip boots the backup rom and boots disabled just fine so I'm 99% sure its installed right. I just cannot figure out what else the problem maybe.

If my chip is fualty I'm going to shoot fire out of my eyes.

Make sure you're using the 3029 and NOT the 3029v16plus.

Also, eliminate the external switch by booting to the backup BIOS, remove the wires from the switch (while FlashBIOS is on screen) and then flashing - it'll automatically flash 1-4 and will boot from this with the switch removed.
