idk wat to do i flashed my version 1.4 xbox with the X3 3294 v16 instead of the X3 3294 not knowing that ther was a diff between the 2. Now any time i tap the on button to go to the blue screen , the screen stays black and i heard the sound of the xbox starting up normally. what should i do to fix this??

you cant flash over backup bank unless your in x3config but you will not need to do this as you need flashbios on it anyway
flash protect is used to stop you from making the misstake of flashing your chip when you did not wont to after you flash the chip with bios turn it on
don,t use cd-r they don,t work use cd-rw

i did u use cd-rw the 1st time (when i put the worng bios on)and it wrked and i also used the same type of cd (with the correct bios on it) the second time exept the same error happened as I said in the 4th post.

Edit:
i will burn it again on another cd-rw (fujifilm brand) and i will enlarge the dummy file's size. if that doesnt wrk i will use a verbatim DVD-R. If u have any other suggestions plz rply if not just tell me if im doin the right thing.

I know this is an old post, but I did the same thing. Only when I get to the backup bios with the blue screen I cannot get my controller to work. I've tried 3 different controllers (2 wireless and 1 wired) and none seem to navigate the menus. I would like to try and flash over network like I did when I originally bought my x3 mod. I only have on controller plugged in any time I am trying this. Is a original ms xbox controller needed for this? I'm floundering here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
