ANSWERED Flashed but not working

Hey guys, im quite new on flashing and all this stuff, but i have managed to get up and understand all these.

So my Xbox 360 drive is a samsung ms28, but identified as a Liteon DG162DS, therefore, it means the samsung is spoofed as a liteon.

Now here comes the problem. A few months back i borrowed an orignal DVD of Crysis 2 from my friend, and without realising, accidentally updated my dashboard since it was rarely updated. Then, my backups of Halo:Reach, Modern Warfare 2, and Black Ops, stopped working. So i started searching why, and learnt what i needed to know.

I decided to try flashing my drive, so i can replay the enhanced AP 2.5 games, and xgd3 games. I got myself an X360USB pro, and identified the firmware in the drive which i previously dont know as Xtreme 5.6.
To play XGD 3 games, i had to update the dashboard first. So i flashed my 360 to stock (tried both post 13141 and pre 13141 stock firmwares), and my 360 still couldnt update, with the USB. Then i decided 'ah fk this ill just play halo reach for the moment'. I flashed my 360 with LT + 2.01. And, it appears, the firmware doesnt work either. I still couldnt play halo reach.
Can anyone explain why?

Maybe i had to flash the drive with the 0800_samsung_SSv2_Only_No_AP25 firmware?

ive high lighted in your post what the problem is.
you will need to go a get yourself a replacement lite-on drive

Yes get a replacement lite on, since it's the original drive for that console, and flash it with the DVD key on the spoof'd drive.

Yes you can use any dg162ds. Of course make sure it works. Use jungleflasher to get the DVD key from the spoofed drive and use that DVD Key when you write the firmware to the new drive using jungleflasher.

Yes, or you could send it to a pro to do for you and save the headache. With the right tools e.g. Pogo Mo Thoin and the right knowledge surprisingly the LiteOn is not really that hard to mod.

My record for modding one of them is 12mins and 47secs from unopened xbox360 to completed flashed drive so it gets easier with experience. :rolleyes2:
