If i flash my drive to LT+3.0 is it xbox live safe or will i have a chance of getting banned?

It isn't "safe" per se, you always take a risk with a modified console on Live.

However, it's as safe as it can be so you should be fine online.

It's your console if u don't wish to risk it ....then don't mod it no one can say 100 % u will be safe ....

Just make sure you patch your games correctly and you should be fine.

Absolutely not I believe in funding the game and console makers for all the hard work they do to bring me the games I can play when iv finished work ....

To be safe you should only go online with original discs and then there is always a chance that MS will detect the ixtreme firmware.
If you do use backups then you need to be sure they are perfect, i use abgx to check them

Also after you burn a XDG3 game verify with kprobe to make sure it's a good burn because with the new topology if you have bad burns that could tag you as well.
