I managed to flash it before the dashboard update to lt3.0 and then i thought this would make it so i could run 360 games is this true? its now spi locked or something so am have i messed it up now or is there still hope?

how do you mean its spi locked i can't flash it now.. i flashed it before dashboard to lt3.0 now afterwards it doesn't want to work.

ul have to do windbond hack to unlock it theres stickys on here on how to do it or put a ad on here for some1 to do it 4 u
just one more questioned if i flashed this as a 0225 i think thats correct fw version i wouldn't have a issue this time around or just updating the dashboard means i had no choice anyway?
no what i meant was no matter what i do before the flash even on update it would of flashed over it? theres no way around this? because i was able to flash before but i have a feeling that if i flashed with a new FW version i would of been ok and not had to do anything.
thanks i guess since i got the key its worth trying to drill the chip and if that don't work get a replacement pcb?

You still have à usbpro? If so, hook it up and press slimkey first, just to make sure you have the correct key etc and don't have to come to the conclusion that the files you got from before aren't the correct ones or the folder is empty somehow. Freshly extracted keys always gives me a comfortable feeling...
Btw, Without the usbpro its not going to be easy to flash let alone almost impossible.

i done it without usbpro lol and it was easy.... or i was lucky just went to town on it with dremel guessed the wire points and it worked my spi unlocked funny stuff thanks everyone for confidence it was easy lol
