flashed know box fragges

I finally flashed the xbox I loaded the cd it found bios it loaded bios it shut off the xbox... Then when i went to start it back up it fragges it will not stay on I been playing with the switches but nothing ...what happen ...:mad:

SUGGESTION: it would help if you keep this in the same thread as your prior so people would know the whole story from the beginning.

QUESTION: can you type out the exact name of bios you flashed?

Yeah but it comes in 2 flavors: 1) X3 3029 v16plus.bin and 2) X3 3029.bin. So which did you used. You have v1.0 xbox correct?

If so how would I be able to repair it if I cant get the xbox to stay on..Or even get back to the 3.0.1 screen ..

If you hold the power and eject buttons you'll boot the the 256k back-up bios... use this to flash the correct bios. Be sure to flash it with teh switches set to on on off off off.

I checked it out I was right a 1.0 ...But I flashed it with 3029 not 3029 v1.6 what went wrong I held down the power and eject and got the 256 backup screen should I try A differnt flash ..

I flashed it with 1959 bios and it stays on know but no picture ..black screen am getting burned out it going on the 5th day ...Please I need you guys

now back to you before I log off. We know you have version 1.0 xbox and I guess you have used a Xapt3r for your X3 correct? You have set your switches to on on off off off. You have flashed using X3 3029.bin plus multiple other versions for Xboxes 1.0-1.5 and it didn't work?

try this first: switch your switches to off on off off off and flash with X3 1959.bin bios.

If the above didn't work. Disconnect the cable from the X3 chip to the X3 control panel switch and then flash.

I tried what you asked and when I flash with 1959 I get a black screen with no audio but a blue display on switch panel ..


Then I disconted the panel and still a black screen no audio ..but xbox does not fragg like when you flash it with 3029 ..it stays on with 1959 but like I said no video or audio ..

I was going ot say to recheck your solder but of course remembered you have the xapt3r. Do you have all 3 blue lights on on the xapt3r? If so, I'm running out of ideas unless someone come up with something else.

Yes all 3 lights on blue ...then one red light on ...On chip two blue lights on...


Xecuter can you give me hand am freash out of ideas ...
