I have an original release day 360 with the Samsugn drive in it. Years ago, I believe had the first Xecuter chip installed. I have never had to do much with it since I never play onine. I just avoided XBoxLive altogether, and all was good.
A couple weeks ago, I bought a copy of GOW3 and when I went to play it, I got the dreaded E66 message. Did some research and found out about LT2.0+
I sent my unit in to a reputable flashing service, just got it back and a weird thing happened. I put my GOW3 in and when it said "update", I hit the B (back) button, but it went ahead and loaded the game... runs fine. But with every other new XGD3 game (original or my backup) refuses to load... give me E66 error still. I looked up my system info and sure enough, I am updated to 2.0.
I am so lost.... any ideas? I do have an Xecuter Blaster installed on my unit even though I never have been able to use it with my PC... could that unit be the problem?
