I have a Xecuter Modchip but I don't know what version!! It has the code G10 in the corner if that helps?!?!

Anyway, playing around with my secondhand toy and flashed the bios called 'david'?? Anyway, erased, flashed rebooted then nothing!

Is my X-Box dead forever, and if not, what programmer can I buy to reflash if that is possible...

I get the 3 reboots then the flashing lights as many people do i have read.

I have read the posts and this seems possible, but, what modchip version do I have & where do I get a programmer.

Many thanks as it is driving me crazy here!!!

Confirm your chip by matching it to the pictures available at Xbox Scene, see the "ID your chip" link in my sig. If it is an X2 series you should be able to pick up a programmer for $10-$15USD. Alternately you could do a hot swap flash but I would not advise it. You'll need another working chip for a hotswap. Xecuter resellers (see front page) should carry the programmer.

From the link to the photo's it looks exactly like the 2.6 Lite...

The only difference is that where it says X2.6 on the corner of the board mine says G10 in print?!?

Cheers,

If that is the only difference then I would suggest looking for an X2 programmer. Safest way to flash the chip without doing a hotswap. And to do a hotswap you need another working chip anyway, if you don't have one available the programmer will be a cheaper solution.

You have tried booting from the alternate bank on the chip, right? (bank1/bank2 switch)
