Hi, I'm a noob fresh from the wrapping and I just got my 1.6 xbox working with the X3CE wired and ready to go. I burned a DVD with "X3 3029 v16plus.bin" and -thought- I was flashing the 1MB Bank (1 & 2 on) but in fact only had 1 on. (Yes, dipshit clumsy of me.) This does not appear to be a defined state in blad bouncer's post on how to set the switchs for the banks. When I flashed it like this, it all looked right on screen and processed okay, but I didn't get the "rox your box" screen after the bar was full green- it just powered off. Now if I start with 1 on only, it FRAGs, but If I start with 1 & 2 on like should have in the first place, I get the X3 screen and it works fine. Still, I am curious as to what I just did, and if I harmed anything, if I can/should revert it back to what how it should be, or if I should not worry about it, proceeed, and be glad I didn't really foul things up. Any pointers?

no harm done and don't even worry about it. Memory banks can be erased and rewritten so most likely whatever you have flashed before was erased and written over with the new bios data.
