Actually, I take it back. It's the Logitech controller that the bios is not detecting. Works just fine in XBMC but does not pick up the fact that I'm holding the white button down. Works just fine using the ms controller.
I can confirm that it is wireless controllers that are the problem. I couldn't get into config live, saw this thread, hooked up a wired controller, and got in just fine. By the way, I have an Airflo wireless, not the logitech.
Actually, I have the wired Logitech So perhaps it's tied to 3rd party controllers? The logitech never worked in the FlashBios menu either but since I've only seen that screen twice since October 04, I really didn't care about it not working.
I know how to get into the menu. If I can get in with one controller, it should mean I can get in with the other. Thats not the case though. It was not a problem before the flash . If I switch banks, the controller works just fine.
Well, it's not working for me. I tested it once again and I can get in with no problems into x3 live if I use the MS conroller but have 0% success rate with the Logitech controller. And yes, the controller works perfectly in XBMC and in games.
Anyone else with a third party controller? Would like to know your experience with it.
i got a gameexpert 3rd part pad whiched worked fine with the old bios but not the new one as it dont seem to see the white button press but when i switch back to the old microsoft pad can get back in the config no probs so it dose seem to be a prob with 3rd party pads
