I just upgraded my hard drive, put a 200gb in and noticed i was only getting 130 or so showing so i had to flash my x2 lite. i flashed it succesfuly, formatted and it shows F: as 186gb, i am happy, copied over C and started copying E back over but after a while i checked my ftp and it said host had stopped connection, i look back and my xbox was off....

...i go to turn xbox on and all that happens is the light keeps flashing orange, nothing come on my tv, nothing loads, i can't eject the drive, and i can't even turn the power off using the button on the xbox, i had to unplug the power to shut it off but it keeps repeating this problem, i can't get back into my xbox, wtf did i do? it was working just fine, what happened, anyone know what this means? how do i fix it?

Flashing orange usually means the Xbox has overheated.

Remove the cover and leave for half and hour. Try again with the cover off to see what happens.

Martin, Thank You!

you were 100% right didn't have a chance to open it up till tonight but no power to main exhaust fan, looks like i crushed the plug and ripped out a wire off the fan's 2 pins and after different testing i determined the adapter on the motherboard broke too, i took 12v/ and ground from HD cable and now its blowing out like normal, already copied 12gb successfully without reboot. :)))

how fast is your connection from pc to xbox? i'm getting about 12mb/sec

Glad to have helped.

12MB/s is about the most you'll get from transfers.

100Mbit ethernet is 12.5MBytes when translated, so if you're hitting 12MB you're not too far off!
