Flashed with old EEPROM and is all dead!

Hello,

I have a 1.6 xbox with the X3. I got an eeprom from my old xbox 1.0 and uploaded it to my xbox (the 1.6). Now when i turn the xbox on the bank status light goes red, then it turns blue and the reads the hard disc. Nothing is appearing on the screen at all. There is also no sound.

When i try to eject the DVD drive it just makes a "dum" sound and nothing happens. If i press the power and eject together i can still get the cromwell bios. The drive opens fine there.

I unlocked the hard drive before attempting any of this. I also have full backups of EEPROM before i attempted this.

I'm near to tears here as this is my second xbox which has gone wrong. Have i just created a £150 door stop? Does anyone have any ideas if i can fix the problem!

cries in anguish! Please any help anyone can give me would be much appreciated. Before i go out and buy another xbox i would like to know if there are any solutions, no matter how dangerous!

Put disc in Xbox 360 console. Help

Hey decided to join because no one seemed to have this problem

I bought a 360 off of a buddy that bought it off one of his friends. I had no idea what firmware it was and my buddy didn't know. I assumed it wasn't the newest firmware since I tried ripping a wave 4 game and playing on it which gave me the "play dvd" error. So I converted it to wave 2 since we don't play on xbox live anyways. Well it doesn't lock up at the xbox 360 logo instead it brings up this message saying "please put this disc in an xbox 360 console."

I thought it was because my drive didn't support bitsetting(Asus -b1st), so I cross flashed my drive with the iHAS324 firmware so I could get bitsetting support. Bitsetting works but still kept getting the message "please put this disc in an xbox 360 console."

Can anyone help me out with this problem?

(Oh and the 360 came with 4 burnt games already and regular games work.)

that would not make sense if real games play its problably not flashed or maybe its the dvdr ur using it can also be the lens
