Flashed x2.6 in previously modded box got error 13

I Learned how to mod through these forums, thanks to all.

This is my first post so bare with me.

Ok this is what I did.

I was testing an un-flashed X2.6ce in a previously modded and working v0.1 xbox, just to see if the chip was working. While the chip was in, I thought "just flash it now and save time later" so I did(evoX3935), resulting in error 13 when the chip is disabled(both chips) in the same previously working v1.0 xbox. The unit works with the chip enabled, so I'm thinking its either the hard drive is now unlocked or the eeprom is now messed up.

If the hard drive was unlocked, you would get error 5. If the EEPROM was the problem, you would get a red light around the eject button. Taken straight from http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/errorcodes.php, error 13 means:

13 - kernel - Dashboard launch fail (due to missing/bad key, or anything else that would prevent it from running) and the dashboard didn't specify why it failed.

Do you have the standard Microsoft dashboard on the Xbox?

Now I have error 16

Yes, this xbox was working great with and without the chip enabled before I flashed the second X2.6. I tried replacing the C: drive with my backup from first install, now I'm getting an error 16 and a flashing red light on the eject button.

Yes I have the M$ dash in the xbox

Flashing only red, or red and green? Error 16 is another dashboard related error. It still sounds like it is having trouble loading the dash. 16 could also mean invalid date/time.

Went back to error 13

I'm now showing error 13 and I didn't change anything else. The eject light is flashing red and green, and it will not boot to M$ dash with the chip on, so I can't check time and date.

Will it boot to the Microsoft dash with the chip off?

With the chip off, it starts into flubber then red & green flashing light and an error 13.

I had the same problem with another xbox, but this time I noticed it right away. I followed these steps and was up and running in no time.

After fixing that one I did the same to this one and every thing works again!
