I have read many posts of similar problems but I had not find the solution.

- I have a 1.6b Xbox and I installed the X3CE chip. I used the rebulided PCB so I didn't use the jumpers. I used the pin header too. I made the soldering very good (I'm an electronic tech) and verified it.

- I had to configure the external switches to off on off off off to see the blue flash screen, otherwise I only have a black screen and the eject led turns from green and stays orange in 30 secs. even if I switched to on on off off off.

- I made the DVD with the X3 3294 Bios, a 100MB dummy file and a skins folder.

- I flashed the Bios X3 3294 with the off on off off off switch set, I saw the yellow and green bars filling up and then the Xbox turned off automatically.

- When I turned on the Xbox it turns on and off three times and then it starts to blinks from green to red. The MS Dashboard works perfect if I disable the modchip.

- I tried resoldering, using the Bank1 and looking if the modchip or the switch boards have bad soldering or something suspicious but found nothing. When I try to use Bank1 instead of Bank2 nothing apears in the screen and the eject led turns orange in 30 secs.

- Now I don't know what to do, please help.

I don't know if this was my mistake. I loaded the x3_3294.bin and I think it was the incorrect Bios. The correct one I think is the x3_3294 v16plus.bin. Thats because I have the Xbox v1.6b. Now I don't know how to reverse the process and load the correct version. I tried to restore with the backup but when I press the two buttons (power and eject) the x-light goes purple (both red and blue leds) but I got no picture, the eject led stays green for 30 seconds and then it turns and stills orange. Its there any backup restore tutorial or procedure? Please help me with this.

Retards flash the wrong bios everyday. A search on the words "wrong bios" should show an "electronic tech" a wealth of info unless you are a pc noob also. You have posted a zillion times and have probably used your search button zero times. A drinker such as myself is easily irritated by such shennanigans.
