I just got a new X3 chip cause my old one died. I had a X3 adapted so it was a quick change out. I switched chips flashed to X3 3293 and the XBOX turned on then off. Same thing a couple of times. I tried 3292 same result. I tried 1959 which was what I had previously used and then the xbox turned on stayed on but no bios screen just black.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Yes I use the correct version and then tried the other just in case. Both ended with same result, XBOX turned on then off.

Rechecked install looks ok. Tried flashing without bios switch same result. Tried flashing x2 bios to chip and xbox began acting more erratic. Same problem but chip did not want to boot to back-up bios. Thanks

on your switch turn on the first two and leave others off. Then turn on your xbox with pressing both power and eject bouttons same time. It should take u the screeen where u can flash bios. This should allow u to flash your xbox again. So this time flash your xbox with right bios.

I had same problem with my xbox because i flashed with wrong bios.

I tried using the same disc I used to flash my original chip. XBOX stays on with no audio or video. I tried using the standard A/V cable vs. the HD A/V I normally used to the same result. The old bios version I flash from disc was 1959.

I don't quite understand how everything was working two weeks ago, then the chip seamingly goes bad. Now I have a new chip I can't even flash to the new bios.

Is there anything that can go wrong with an XBOX that can prevent proper flashing? And keep in mind that w/o the chip installed XBOX boot fine.

Also with the xapter should the red d0 light stay illuminated. When the xapter is installed I get 3 blue leds on the xapter and the red led flashes when first powered up but then shuts off. Will the lack of a d0 prevent a flashed chip from booting? Even tho the flash bios loads.

Sorry for the long post, but I am grasping at straws at this point.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. I definitely see the flashbios because I have flashed to a Cromwell 2.4 for linux. Linux even boots on the machine. I am just having problems with Xecuter bioses.
