Hmm...

Well I guess I could try that version of the bios. If it is a soldering issue... what a frustrating one. I wonder what might have happened. Oh well, I guess this next weekend we'll see what happens. Thanks for the advice guys, I'll keep you posted.

Found The Issue

Well I found out what the problem is... but haven't yet fixed the issue. Here are my readings:

1 - 1.6v - lclk
2 - 0v - ground
3 - 3.3
4 - removed
5 - 3.3v - reset
6 - 5v
7 - 3.3v - lad3
8 - 3.3v - lad2
9 - 3.3v - 3.3v
10 - 3.3v - lad1
11 - 3.3v - lad0
12 - 0v -ground
13 - 0v <--- Should Be 3.3v
14 - 3.3v
15 - 3.3v
16 - removed

I'll let you know after I fix the Xbox if it was a solder splash or just not soldered at all.

Intersting

It's funny how everything comes back to this post:

http://teamxecuter.entryhost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5764

I didn't believe it at first until I took readings and found that my pin 13 was 0v instead of 3.3v. The thing that sucks is that I've resoldered that pin several times over after finding this out and still nothing... which poses another question:

WHERE ARE THE CORRESPONDING POINTS FOR PINS 13 & 14 THAT WE CAN CHECK FOR CONTINUITY ON A 1.0 MOTHERBOARD?

I'd love to know so I can check my soldering before placing the motherboard back in the xbox. The problem with previous posts regarding continuity is that they stop at pins 12... which doesn't help with an X3 install. Thanks in advance for any responses!

My Xbox is doing exactly what you explained. I'm using the solderless adaptor with X3. When I first installed the mod chip, FlashbBIOS opened fine and I flashed X3 using the CD method. The green bar filled up and switched off. When I turned it back on, I had no audio or video and it turned right back off. I flashed in off, off, off, off, off. When I switch it to on, on, off, off, off I still have no audio or video but the xbox will stay on. The LCD will be green for a few seconds and then switch to red but doesnt blink. I've tried to reflash my bios by hitting power + eject but it will do the same thing (turn on and right back off). Any suggestions? I'm kinda new at this and would like to get this to work.

Getting into your backup bios

In order to get into your backup bios you'll need to boot by pressing the eject and power at the same time... I know you tried this already but it's actually a touchy thing. Make sure that you let go of the two buttons the second the X3 light goes purple otherwise it will try to boot from the flashed bios.
