So i wanted to flash my xbox 360, im not a noob to modding, but flashing yes. I was wondering what things i needed, can i play online with friends when its flashed, and can i get banned for this? BTW My xbox gets red ring every couple months but i use towel trick to fix it and it gets back to normal, hope this doesnt matter..

May i ask why you would do the towel thing?you are going to damage it beyond repair,there are plenty of professional people on here that can reflow that baby quickly and efficiently and you will be back up and running in no time.
Yes of coarse you can get banned for playing back ups thats the chance your willing to take...but the teams have a pretty darn good handle on everything...don't flash your xbox if your going to go into extreme paranoia mode.
Yes you can go online with your back ups as long as there ripped,patched and burned correctly a long with the latest Firmware.
