ANSWERED flashing 16d5s from 16d4s???

i have an old liteon 16d4s drive (flashed one), so if i etract dvd key from it then do i need DGX & coolrunner & other stuff to flash a 16d5s drive???

im totally not underdstanding what your trying to do here.

to flash a 16d5s drive, you need a doctorate in electronics engineering, an electron microscope, a surgical laser lance, and some extraordinary luck. Unless you're talking about a 16d5s replacement (LTU) PCB, in which case, yes, you need a way to glitch the motherboard to extract the files you need for an LTU install. what does this have to do with the 16d4s?

in order to flash your xbox 360 16D5S, u need to do some soldering stuff dgx n all, alrite i agree, but what i heard was if u have an old 16D4S unlocked pcb then u don't need to do the soldering stuff is that true???

a d4s pcb has absolutley nothing to do with flashing a d5s drive.period

If your console is going to stop retail for XBL, you need an LTU PCB.
