Just installed my mod chip turn on xbox goes to flash screen and says: unable to read hdd first sector getting partition table. Or something of the sort. What could be the problem?

checked them out and still get the same i'm trying to use a different motherboard with my old hard drive because i frigged up some circuits on my original when i tried to solder my chip in. a friend brought me his old hard drive outta his xbox and it has been unlocked but i still get the same message
No it comes up with with the you need microsoft tech support and it has the number 6 I believe. Called my friend and he said that it wasn't unlocked, he thought it was but realized that his new was the only one unlocked. How can we unlock it on his xbox to use it on mine?

Wondering something. I have a new 100 gig hdd that I was going to put into my xbox after I modded it. Is it possible that we can copy the run files from his 80 gig in his xbox and use it in mine and run my mod chip on it?
downloaded auto installer 3 now can't figure out what to do with all the files that came from the download.
