LITEON DG-16D2S Flashing a 1/1/09 w/74580C new dash

I am running into issues flashing this 74580C dg-16d2s liteon virgin drive,Done it a few times before on a different 360 , just now bought one off a friend for cheap and wanted to flash this one.

Problems

I read the Flashing guide and tried to follow steps but

When I try to extract the key there is no Green light on my probe.I got a CK3 pro and a CK3 Probe about 3 years ago which I used on my other liteon for several flashing without issues.When I try to do it very same way it doesnt work and said bad serial then when I try the new plat way it comes back failed. Neither the r707 or the mxo1... probe does not get a green led light. I am tried with the red light on the CK3 Pro and With the Blue led on the pro and no go.I know 100% that this drive has never been flashed too.It has never been taken apart , not even to clean.

I have flashed my prior 360 off this computer to the LT so it cant be the computer because it flashed the prior one without issues , or could it be that LT 1.91 has required different hardware and my setup no longer works to flash with LT+ 1.91?
I read it said I had to update drivers but cant find any updates(been removed from CK3 Pro site I bought it from)

What could be the problem?

I have a amd with sata card , ck3 pro,ck3 probe(first one made I believe).It sees the drive but when I try to extract key it fails both ways in the new tut.

Is there a different way to flash the older xbox360's now that LT+ 1.91 is here.I had no issues flashing with LT when it was sent out on my other xbox.I dont go online so I really could care less about xboxlive , I think they can shove all those cards to get online playing right up the ......... ya bought this over priced junk you should play free online like most pc games...

I have no issues starting up JF 1.91 and drive comes up fine , just not verified and cant complete the dvdkey32 or platkey, comes back bad serial/phatkey failed.

You want the blue light on your CK3 to be on. Also are you doing the half tray method, you have to do that for JF tor recognize your drive. Just follow the tut in JF documents step by step.

There's no more probing via R707. You need a Probe 3 for MPX01 or the MRA Hack in order for you to pull the key off the drive.

You can make a probe 3 very easily mate too if you don't lyk spending money

Done it maself n works lyk a charm no issues

he can use his original probe to probe MPX01 he just needs to add a switch to the 3.3v wire

Thanks found the post about it after wasting hours of reading useless posts.I see why poeple just ask ?'s over and over.Would think that would been a sticky or atleast advised of when they made new flashing guide .Guess they assume you rush out and buy the lastest and greatest items that arnt really needed.I did follow the guide but that was left out about having to add a switch so guide was useless after the first few steps when they failed to mention if using probe 1 you had to install switch for it to work, no wonder I had no green light, looks like I am not only one who had that issue.I even saw where they claimed if you didnt get green light then your drive had been flashed already and I knew it had not so that fact was proven wrong....I'll pick up switch tomorrow.

ANY thing ELSE they failed to mention in the guide??? Like I couldn't use the old CK3 Pro Xecuter board and need to modify it , its not USB its serial cable so I am hoping that's still useable.....

They didn't fail to mention anything in the guide - this is a free support forum for TX products - they give you FULL illustrated tutorials on how to correctly flash your drive via sticky's on the forum front page......it's really not hard. It clearly shows the switch on the probe 3 - did you think this was just to make it look pretty? lol If you want to be flashing yourself, and struggle at this point - I would suggest buying the items from the tuorial...x360USB Pro.....you obviously have found how to make a probe III and the ck3 will then only be used for power

Sorry but how about you show me exactly WHERE they tell you that you have to install a switch my probe!They are using newer probes and I have the fisrt one which only has a on/off switch on the board its self and thought thats the switch they were refering to.Sorry you felt you were born a hacker or xbox360 flash queen but everyone needs help including you!Sorry but no tut covers everything pal.Nowhere on the tut does it say if your using a older ck3 pro and probe your going to have top cut wire 6 and splice in a switch(not that you even need a switch in there).Not if YOUR Following the TUT in the correct flash order.NOT even in the FAQ section......If your going to answer help questions may want to work on your people skills.....

All is done and flashed , up and going.
