Flashing a 1024 bank from Backup BIOS

Hi,

Here is my situation :

I flashed bank #1 (on on off off off) with ver. 1943 GOLD ->everything OK

I tried then to flash bank #2 (off off on off off) with ver. 1957->Flashbios hanged 1/2 of the work... :shock:

After 20 minutes waiting with progressbar half of the way and no activity sign, I decided to turn the box off... :?

I'm now unable to boot from bank #2, so I need to flash it again.
After searching this forum, there is still something i'm not sure before I try it :

With bank #2 selected (off off on off off), im still able to boot from the backup bios but with 2 ways :

- pressing power+eject : Xled blue, cromwell GUI

- pressing&maintaining power+eject for 2 seconds : Xled purple, cromwell GUI

witch one should I choose to flash the 1024#2 from the backup bios ?
I sure dont want to screw the backup bios so please help me...

READ this VERY carefully and you'll see where you phuqered up you switch settings. At least thats what i gather from what you typed in.

once you have X3CL you NEVER need to use the switches again.

you can select which banks to flash to and which banks to boot from all in the BIOS MENU

its pathetically simple to use.

i guess the noobs just like doing it the hard way. and not reading. and not soldering right. and phuqering it away.
seriously even if they use the switches, if you READ CAREFULLY, you shouldnt screw anything up. damn i was a noob and i got mine to work by myself.
If you guys had any doubts that you could get the project done, you shoulda just let someone else do it (official modders) and if they messed up they woulda had to get you a new XB.

Will LiteTouch save me?

I haven't been online atleast a week after the banwave. I just want to know if I get LiteTouch, will that prevent me from getting banned? Or will is just let me play new wave games?

you may have been flagged already, you can only upgrade to LT when it comes out and hope for the best.

If you were online with modified firmware at any time in the last couple months, you were probably already flagged for a ban. Odds are as soon as you connect again you'll get the hammer. To test if you're banned, assuming your XBox is still within the one year warranty period, go to xbox.com and try to request warranty service. If it won't allow you to request service and you're xbox is still within the one year warranty, you're banned.
