flashing a liteondrive: can i plug a sata cable into any sata port in my computer?

I am not using a tx 360 usb pro, so i will be connecting directly into my desktop computer sata port....... i was wondering if i could connect the xbox dvd drive into any sata port, there are 4 ports in total.

and if im suppose to connect the sata cable into sata port 1, my sata hard drive(in my computer) is already connected into port 1, can i connect that sata hard drive into another port?

Just try each sata port and see what works. Your sata chipset needs to be compatible with jungleflasher to recognise your drive. If not u will need a via 6421 pci card or a x360usb pro. How are u going to power the xbox DVD drive. What type of drive are u trying to flash.

have u got a pmt probe 3.

jungleflasher tutorial states you should use primary sata 0 or 1 which ever is lowest

you might want to spend a few minutes and read the tutorial, everything you need to know is in there
